This Friday in Illinois is the last scheduled staging of Look Who’s Knockin’, the play about Land Succession we highlighted a few months back.
The play is about an elderly farm couple, Gerald and Nettie, who are struggling with the question of what to do with the farm that has been in Nettie’s family for five generations. The play focuses on critical issues faced by Illinois farmers and farming communities today. It also presents options — ways that retiring and aspiring farmers might help each other find ways to steward the land into the future.
