The University of Massachusetts Amherst will be hosting a conference on Revisioning Sustainability this summer, focusing on the role of college campuses as catalysts for regenerative food systems. As many institutions of higher learning divest their land, the role of schools is no longer just to educate those entering the food system as producers, it very well may be the schools supplying the land for the farmer.

Nearby Amherst College has recently collaborated with local farmers of Book & Plow Farm who run a for-profit farm in cooperation with the University.
