The twentieth anniversary Rebellious Lawyering Conference will be held in New Haven, CT on February 21-22, 2014.

The RebLaw conference, grounded in the spirit of Gerald Lopez‘s Rebellious Lawyering, seeks to build a community of law students, practitioners, and activists seeking to work in the service of social change movements and to challenge hierarchies of race, wealth, gender, and expertise within legal practice and education.

They are now accepting session proposals for the 2014 conference.

All law students interested in progressive and/or community-based lawyering are welcome to submit proposed panels, workshops, trainings, facilitated discussions, or any event you believe would aid in inspiring, informing, or building community among rebellious law students, practitioners, activists, and organizers.

Please view information about how to propose a session.

Proposals must be submitted by October 11th at 5pm (ET) to reblaw2014submissions@gmail.com.

Please direct any questions to rebellious.law.questions@gmail.com.
