More About Jodie Evans
Jodie Evans is the co-founder of CODEPINK and the after-school writing program 826LA, and is the board chair of Rainforest Action Network. She has been a feminist activist for peace, justice and the planet for over 50 years. Ten years ago she realized she could not end war until she ended the war economy that war served. She pivoted to cultivating local peace economies as she continued to expose the destruction, oppression and extraction of the war economy. She helps divest individuals and philanthropists from the war economy to instead invest themselves in a future for people and the planet. She serves on the board of Schumacher Center for New Economies, Foundation for World Arts, Global Girl Media, Hereditary Disease Foundation, Institute for Policy Studies, ETINA, The Peoples Forum, People Support Foundation and the Motion Institute. Executive Producer of The Square, Shadow World, This Changes Everything, The Brainwashing of My Dad, Most Dangerous Man in America, The People Speak and more. Co-produced books: Twilight of Empire Responses to Occupation, Stop The Next War Now and Beautiful Trouble. @MsJodieEvans
