More About Jean Willoughby

Jean Willoughby serves as Executive Director of Agrarian Trust. Her career has focused on promoting farmland conservation and regenerative agriculture. She was a founding advisor to Agrarian Trust starting in 2014 and previously served as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations. She contributes to the Agrarian Commons initiative alongside our dedicated team, which supports next-generation farmers with secure land tenure. She has worked with a range of food, farming, and land trust organizations from North Carolina’s Triangle Land Conservancy to the Massachusetts Food System Collaborative. Her book Nature’s Remedies: An Illustrated Guide to Healing Herbs was published by Chronicle Books.
