More About Briana Olson

As editor for Agrarian Trust’s FaithLands Toolkit and two editions of the Greenhorns New Farmer’s Almanac, Briana has connected with farmers, ecologists, ranchers, spiritual leaders, justice advocates, and seed savers across the US (and world). A longtime wanderer, she currently lives in Albuquerque, where she co-edits edible New Mexico and writes about land, food, art, and identity. Briana holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Houston and has taught writing at diverse institutions, including Mount Tamalpais College at San Quentin State Prison, where she was the managing editor for the student-run literary magazine, OpenLine.
