Thursday, November 9, marks the start of three agriculture-based conferences in New Mexico.
Agrarian Trust’s OUR LAND 2 – SYMPOSIUM 2016 takes place in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, focusing on issues such as land transition, continuity and the commons. These topics will be touched upon through film screenings, talks, an art exhibition and more. Many events are free with RSVP. The full speakers list can be viewed here.
The Quivira Conference, also beginning on November 9 in Albuquerque, focuses on regenerative solutions for current agricultural and environmental problems. The speakers presenting will touch on these issues through different lenses, such as policy and advocacy, to discuss real-world solutions and means for effective change. See the schedule here.
