Regional Land Access Project, Phase II

Our partner organization Land for Good has concluded the first year of its Land Access Project, Phase II (LAP2).  This coalition of farmers from across 6 New England states has been working build power for farmers of all types in the region and make certain that farmland is passed to the next generation of farmers in America.  The Land Access Project is funded by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture through its Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program.  Success in one part of the country in building land trust and relationships between generations of farmers and other stakeholders is a model that can serve the rest of the nation.  For highlights of their accomplishments in the past year and plans for the future, read more here.
