Food First Executive Director, Eric Holt-Giménez, will be the keynote speaker at the Food [in]Justice in the 21st Century Fall Symposium at Middlebury College in Vermont.
Join Eric for a fascinating look at the inequalities that exist within the consumption of sustainable foods and the progressive food movement, digging into questions of food justice and accessibility, class and race, with an emphasis on migrant labor and migrants’ labor rights.
The event begins at 7:30 in Wilson Hall of the McCullough Student Center. Free and open to the public.
This symposium is organized by EatReal — a student organization promoting local food consumption and a more sustainably-minded food culture among the student body.
