The equivalent of 37 mid-sized farms closed every day from 2012-2017. An estimated 400 million acres of farmland has begun changing hands as a generation of farmers and ranchers retires.

Innovative models of farmland ownership and stewardship such as the Agrarian Commons are needed to heal the land and grow food sustainably.

SHARE YOUR STORY

Farmers, send your story! [ SEND EMAIL ]
We document land access stories on our blog. We interview farmers and landowners looking for new farmers and stewards for their land. We also regularly post farmland and job opportunities. Get in touch and tell us about yourself and your efforts to find (or share) land.
