Our dear friend and colleague, Wes Jackson, was interviewed by In These Times in 2016. His words continue to echo the truth:”In 1978, I wrote an essay for the Friends of the Earth publication Not Man Apart on the history of Earth abuse due to agriculture. I suggested building an agricultural system based on the way the prairie works, though acknowledging that it might take fifty to a hundred years. “
Wes is the President Emeritus of The Land Institute and his wisdom has been echoed by the Post Carbon Institute, Resilience.org, The Atlantic, and Smithsonian Magazine, to name a few.
Wes is an official supporter of Agrarian Trust and we are grateful to listen to and share his wisdom.
