A group of MBA students from Emory University are researching “Farmer Benefits” and current major challenges that farmers face in Georgia. The results from this survey will be used to create a plan for how to increase better and more affordable benefits for farmers like health insurance, disability insurance and retirement plans.
The Emory project is being done in collaboration Community Farmers Markets, Georgia Organics, and the Young and Beginning Farmers Alliance.
